The Yankees Win, The Yaaaankeeeeeees Win!

I just got back from the game and despite the fact that the old stadium was better, it was still awesome. The main thing I don't like about the new stadium is that there are so many stores and crap that it almost like a mall in the concourse. It kinda took away from game. I mean you can even buy phones there. Phones! Why the hell would anyone want to buy a phone at a baseball game? But despite all this, when you're in your seat watching the game you can still feel the energy. All of us up in nosebleed were high fiving each other, interacting and just being friendly with each other. For the most part, the feel of the stadium (while in the seats) was the same. I personally screamed so loud so much that I can barely speak above a whisper and my hands are bright red from all the clapping. My sister and I singlehandedly got our section cheering. We were the ones to start all the chants and stuff. We were in the second row from the top - if I stood up and looked behind me, I could see out from the top of the stadium. It was pretty cool, the sun set behind us even though we really couldn't see much because of the clouds. I'm just glad that it didn't rain. I'm watching the Yankees encore right now and I can swear that I can hear myself screaming, god I was loud. But you're at  a Yankee game - you're supposed to be loud. There were quite a few good points in the game, like Teixera's, Swisher's, Damon's, and Jeter's home runs xD Tampa Bay managed three runs, even though we still kicked butt! Ok, so 5 - 3 isn't really kicking butt, but its close enough. But still, it was a really nice night tonight. The weather held out, the Yankees won, and we didn't hit traffic getting back *is very tired right now and is glad to have gotten home quick* I think that's all for now, *.-

Let's Go Yankees!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing much is going on in my life lately, although this Monday I'll be going to a Yankee vs. Tampa Bay game. I can't wait! Considering how expensive ticket prices are now, this'll probably the only game I'll be going to for awhile. They're predicting rain and thunderstorms though for the game, I hope it doesn't get rained out. If it does, they should give us tickets to the make up game so, I guess it really doesn't matter too much but I still really want to go on Monday. If anybody's watching the game, keep an eye out for me. I'll be up in nosebleed with this huge poster that I'll be making. I'm hoping that it will be big enough to get me on tv xD

In other news, I'll also be going to anime next on the 13th. This is another thing that I have been looking forward to for a really long time. I went last year too, and it was so much fun! I'm hoping to finally acquire the rest of Dragon Knights. I only need seven more and I'll have the whole series! If I have enough money after that, I might buy some other manga and maybe  a poster or something like that.

Hmm, not much else to report. Let's see, I finally finished some drawings so tomorrow I'll actually post something on my DeviantArt. I apologize that I haven't really done anything for nearly a month, but there should be some activity soon. And with luck, I'll defeat my writer's block (again ^ ^;) and actually update some of my stories on my fanfiction account (which btw has a different name than here, my fanfiction username is PurpleFireDragonofDusis. I'm seriously thinking of changing it to the same as here, make it easier.)

Well I think that's it, just remember: LET'S GO YANKEES!

Yesterday I went to a record store down the road from me. The store is awesome, more than half of the store was just vinyls! I was hoping to get a job there but there wasn't any available. but I did manage to get two great records: Who's Next and Face Dances! I've been trying to get Who's Next on vinyl for a long time now, so I'm happy right now. Haven't been able to listen to it yet, my dad's record player isn't hooked up and mine is at my mom's house. But I'll be going home tonight so...

I also went to a baseball game last night, a Ducks game. The Ducks are a minor league team on Long Island. Sadly they lost, although only by one point. But on the bright side, The Yankees kicked butt last night! 14 straight games with no errors, only four more and we pass the all time record! Also Matsui, my favorite player, got two home runs! In consecutive at bats! Oh yea, we're now tied for first place too! Whoo hoo!!!! Go Yanks!

I'm going bowling tonight, I hope I do good. I kinda sucked last week so hopefully today will be better. I am now currently on two bowling leagues, Thursday nights which is a light hearted league and Tuesday nights which is a sports shot league. Sports shot is a lot more challenging than regular bowling but it should help my game, especially my accuracy.

Well I think that's all, now I'm going to make a sandwich - I'm starving xD

Introduction

This is just an introduction journal entry. I've been toying with the idea of joining livejournal and finally decided to do it. I'm 18 and will be a sophomore in college. I'm thinking about switching my major to a double Art and Creative Writing. I am a huge fan of classic rock, my favorite band is The Who but I also like The Doors, The Rolling Stones, Moody Blues, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, etc. I discovered classic rock when I was fourteen and have a pretty large collection of music including numerous vinyls. It's sorta a hobby - collecting old vinyl's. I have quite a few rare records plus a couple of bootlegs. My favorite album is Quadrophenia, favorite song is the 5:15.

I'm also a huge fan of manga/anime. My all time favorite is Dragon Knights but I also like Fruits Basket, TRC, xxxHolic, Cardcaptor Sakura, 07 Ghost, Rurouni Kenshin, and many others. I spend a lot of time drawing fanart and writing fanfiiction. My deviantart is Keiji-of-Ice and my fanfiction is PurpleFireDragonofDusis. I have quite a few stories up if anyones interested.

Umm, I'm not sure what else to say here so I think I'll leave at that and get some sleep since its so late.
